Job description

Role:

Are you passionate about engaging children and young people in nature and cultural heritage?
Do you believe in ensuring all younger generations feel welcome and included? Volunteer to help inspire the National Trust’s supporters of the future.

You will be supporting or leading a variety of activities and projects with or for children & young people such as family events, family and youth volunteering, school engagement, and careers engagement.
As part of the recruitment process for this role, you will need to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check before starting.
Volunteering with partners and community groups who engage children & young people, such as Duke of Edinburgh, Scouts/Guides, and youth clubs.
Championing the National Trust’s core aims of conserving nature, beauty, and history for everyone, for ever.

You are important in making sure things run as smoothly and safely as possible – this includes getting to know health and safety and evacuation procedures.
There might occasionally be some other activities that are of interest to you, that we could use your help with.
Being part of a team that may need to adapt to changing circumstances.

Time commitment:
Volunteering hours vary depending on the role and our opening times. We aim to be as flexible as possible and can discuss more with those interested in the role.
