Qualifications

Role Overview

This position is within the Childcare team of the law firm. The team is well-established and includes Panel member solicitors. There is ample Paralegal and Secretarial support. The firm is seeking a Solicitor with experience in public children matters. The types of cases handled include:

  • Care / Supervision Orders
  • Emergency Protection Orders
  • Placement Orders
  • Special Guardianship Orders
  • Discharge of Care Orders and contact matters
  • Pre-proceedings advice

The firm promotes a friendly culture and flexible working, allowing for a hybrid pattern with time spent in the office, at court, and working from home.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor with experience in Childcare law. PQE level is flexible. Panel membership is advantageous but not essential.
