Paralegal - Childcare Legal Team (Remote, Temporary)
Location: Wales (Remote)
Contract: Temporary - Initial 3 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join a Local Authority in Wales on a remote, temporary basis.

We are seeking a proactive individual with recent children's law experience, ideally within public law, who is ready to take on a new and rewarding challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to a team of Solicitors handling childcare matters
  • Requesting disclosure and gathering relevant case documentation
  • Liaising with external parties to chase evidence and court documents
  • Taking accurate minutes during meetings
  • Delivering high-quality administrative support to the legal team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal, ideally within a similar setting
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities remotely
