Service Care are working alongside a reputable council in Lambeth who are looking to recruit a talented and meticulous Childcare Paralegal to join their team. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: Childcare Paralegal
Location: Lambeth (London)
Salary: £28 to £31 per hour (PAYE exc.) / £31 to £35 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
Working: Hybrid (1 per office attendance)
Contract:8 months on going

Role Overview:

• To assist in providing an efficient and effective legal service to the Council by providing paralegal support to the lawyers and the team
• To conduct routine legal work under supervision of the Senior Lawyer
• To attend court and instruct counsel as and when required.
• To provide support to the Principal and Senior Lawyers in the administration of team procedures, team meetings and implementing team Lexcel procedures
• To carry out the duties of the post in a pro-active and enabling manner and within the policy objectives of the Council.
• Prior experience of manager own case load.
