Job description

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in Merseyside for a Childcare Paralegal position.

Salary:

• Umbrella rate: £17ph – 19ph depending on experience
• PAYE (including holidays): £15.48 - £17.24ph depending on experience

This is a hybrid role on a 5-month contract with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities:

• Assist solicitors with case management
• Support the transfer process of children’s cases and communicate upcoming filing dates and court hearings to prevent delays
• Manage caseloads from start to finish regarding childcare law

Candidate requirements:

• Experience with legal documentation and drafting
• Ability to draft letters and reports
• Experience attending court with counsel and taking hearing notes
