A local government authority in Glenrothes is seeking a Childcare Manager to oversee out of school clubs for children aged 4 to 19. The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications and experience managing teams, and will be responsible for day-to-day operations and ensuring quality play-based activities for children. This permanent position offers a salary of £33,732.26 - £41,972.91 based on experience.

We are looking for a Childcare Manager to manage and oversee a cluster of out of school clubs for school aged children across North East Fife.
Each Out of School Club is registered with the Care Inspectorate and are designed to support families to access employment or further education, while children are able to access quality play-based activities and experiences.
The Childcare Manager will be fully responsible for the day-to-day management of their cluster, the direct management of a team of Childcare Practitioners and Senior Childcare Practitioners.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
As this role requires SSSC registration, you will have three months to apply for registration.
If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you\'re registered within the required six months.
If you need to achieve a qualification to maintain your SSSC membership, information will be provided if you are appointed. You must ensure you complete the qualification within the specified timeframe.
