East Coast College is seeking a Childcare Lecturer to deliver quality-driven childcare courses at the Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft Campus. The role focuses on developing learners' knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in early years settings.

You will bring up-to-date sector knowledge, commitment to safeguarding and an inclusive approach, supporting students through their studies and helping them progress to their aspirations within the childcare sector.

Job Title: Childcare Lecturer

Location: Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft Campus

Hours: 37 Hours - 1.0 FTE

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Salary: Lecturers Scale ( £35112.48 - £41600.00 FTE)

We're looking for a Childcare Lecturer to continue offering quality-driven and up-to-date course delivery.

As part of our fantastic Childcare curriculum team, your knowledge, experience, and commitment will help to further support your students in pursuit of their aspirations. Guiding learners through the exciting world of early years education, you'll help them develop not only the skills but also the confidence to succeed.

• East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.

Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
