Sellick partnership are delighted to be recruiting for a childcare lawyer to join a local authority in Yorkshire on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fantastic team with a wealth of experience. The successful candidate will be picking up a range of duties, such as:

  • Holding a caseload of care cases and pre proceedings
  • Advising clients on child protection, care proceedings, special guardianship, private law proceedings, fostering legislation and adoption law
  • Attending legal planning, PLO and Gateway meetings
  • Preparing for hearings and conducting advocacy in the Family Court
  • Drafting threshold documents
