Job summary

Lancaster University’s Pre-School Centre is seeking a Part-Time Support Assistant-Food to help deliver nourishing meals and care for children aged 3 months to 5 years on the Bailrigg campus in Lancaster. The role is 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11.30 am–2.45 pm, for 52 weeks.

An enhanced DBS is required, and staff enjoy 25 days annual leave and campus facilities. Applicants should have some knowledge of child development, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to high-quality early

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of child development.
• Enjoy working with children and being part of a team.
• Must complete an enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and serving for children.
• Ensure safety and hygiene during meal times.
• Support daily routine and activities within the Centre.
