Job summary

School Friend Clubs is hiring staff passionate about childcare to deliver high-quality care and age-appropriate play in a safe, engaging environment. The role requires clear record-keeping and strong communication with parents, colleagues, schools and service users to ensure smooth information flow.

Hours are term-time, Monday to Friday, including 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm slots, with approximately 23.5 hours per week and a small admin/meetings component.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering childcare in a school or club setting.
• Commitment to working Monday to Friday.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and provide age-appropriate play.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality childcare in a safe and engaging environment for children.
• Maintain clear records and ensure smooth information flow between parents, colleagues, schools and service users.
• Work club hours as scheduled (7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm) with admin/meetings time; hours may vary slightly.

Salary: £13.80 per hour (£15.83 per hour including accrued holiday pay)

Contracted hours: 23.5 hrs. Per week during Term Time only

Club hours: 7:30 – 9:00am for Breakfast Club & 3:00-6:00pm for After School Club

Monday-Friday + 1 hour for Admin/Meetings etc. The hours may vary slightly depending on the school.

Must be committed to working Monday to Friday.

School Friend Clubs are looking for staff that are passionate about childcare, and are able to deliver quality child care and appropriate age-related play in a safe and interesting environment.
