Job Description

Are you looking to kick start your career in early years? You could gain a qualification with us in as little as 12 months. We have a fantastic management team to support you through your modules, along with in-house training from our highly experienced and skilled management team.

This Role Will Include
  • Assisting with the full care of children, ensuring their physical needs (food & personal hygiene) are met.
  • Supporting safe, creative, and appropriate play opportunities, preparing activities within a stimulating environment.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, working alongside others to ensure this is achieved.
  • Assisting with the provision of healthy, nutritional snacks and meals.
  • Maintaining daily records.
  • Observing and assessing key children, once delegated.
  • Administering First Aid, as appropriate.
  • Attending and undertaking training as required.
  • Carrying out responsibilities within an equal opportunities framework.
  • Following the setting's Policies & Procedures.
  • Working in accordance with EYFS, collaborating with Supervisors, Management, and others to ensure full compliance.
  • Performing any other duties reasonably expected of the post holder.

Training

Our setting has an Ofsted Grade 2 'Good' rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. We use a blended learning approach, prioritizing our learners. Each learner is assigned a Personal Tutor for regular catch-ups, check-in emails, and calls. Your employer will allocate 20% of your working hours to your studies, giving you the best chance to achieve high grades. Upon completing this 12-month apprenticeship, you will have gained an Early Years Practitioner – Level 2 qualification.

Prospects

There is a possibility of a full-time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
