Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Mini VIPs Nursery and Daycare

Shoots Training is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Mini VIPs Nursery and Daycare in Winchcombe.

Mini VIPs Nursery and Daycare is a family-run business that provides a home-like environment where children are treated like family. Our nursery has three rooms: Caterpillars (0-24 months), Busy Bees (2-3.5 years), and Butterflies (3 years to starting school). We also offer holiday club and wrap-around care, including breakfast and after-school clubs for children aged 4-12 years.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Contributing to a high-quality, caring environment that promotes emotional, social, and educational development through individual and group activities.
  • Working with children and attending all required training as per your training agreement.
  • Completing all assignments on time and working as part of the team.
  • Attending team meetings and participating in sharing ideas.
  • Providing care for children under supervision, including washing, changing, and feeding.
  • Supporting the personal, social, and emotional needs of children.
  • Engaging in adult-led interactions with children.
  • Abiding by nursery policies, including safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
  • Maintaining safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Supporting staff and developing strong communication with parents and carers.
  • Understanding emergency procedures and health and safety regulations.
Hours:
  • Nursery hours are from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed.
