Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Early Years at EarlyBirds Nursery Woodville

The Aspire Training Team is currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join EarlyBirds Nursery at their Woodville setting to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.

Established in 2020, EarlyBirds Day Nursery offers all-year-round childcare and is located in the village of Fremington, situated between Barnstaple and Bideford in North Devon.

EarlyBirds Day Nursery welcomes children from ages 0-11, providing a warm, happy environment where your little ones will learn and play, cared for by our friendly, enthusiastic, and fully qualified team.

Your roles and responsibilities as an Apprentice working towards your level 3 will be:

• Planning and supporting children with play and their education, including planning daily activities.
• Being a key member of the team with a number of children allocated under your care.
• All aspects of personal care, including toileting and training.
• Working in partnership with external agencies.
• Keeping parents updated on progress and updating children’s learning journals regularly.
• Attending parents’ evenings and team meetings.

Hours:

• You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours and up to 45 hours per week, with set hours from 7:00 to 18:00 and a day off option during the week.

Requirements:

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is required when applying.
• An understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe.
• GCSEs A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent, such as functional skills.
