Job summary

ND Care & Support Ltd in Wales is seeking compassionate Support Workers to empower children and young people with additional needs. You will provide high‑quality, person‑centred care in community and home settings, helping individuals reach their potential.

Contracted hours start from 15 per week, with evenings, school holidays and weekends possible. A full driving licence and car are desirable but not essential. We provide training, DBS cost reimbursement, and registration fee support.

Responsibilities

• Promote child development through play, socialisation, education support, and life skills.
• Provide personal care, including toileting, washing, dressing, and intimate care, maintaining dignity and promoting independence.
• To communicate confidently and effectively with those you support.
• Attend and implement training in Paediatric First Aid and Team Teach (Positive Behaviour Management).
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments to ensure safe and consistent support.
• Health and Safety.
• Safely support individuals with complex, obscure, or physical health conditions.
• Always follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Contribute to risk assessments and incident reporting.
