Job summary

Protection Group International is seeking an analyst for its Digital Investigations Team to identify and investigate online threats to children, including CSAM, grooming and extremism. You will work with OSINT, perform threat assessments and produce client-ready reports.

Joining the team offers hybrid working, wellbeing support and opportunities to contribute to diverse, high-impact investigations across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• Experience in online research, digital investigations and OSINT.
• Knowledge of online child safety, ideally with depth in child endangerment or youth radicalisation.
• The mindset of an investigative journalist: curious and persistent.
• Ability to write clear and concise threat assessments.
• Background in research, safeguarding or intelligence role (law enforcement, journalism, NGOs or tech platforms).
• Resilient, discreet approach to sensitive material and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track online threats involving CSAM, grooming and child exploitation.
• Research involvement of minors in online harm networks and extremism.
• Map and assess novel TTPs of bad actors and methods of evasion.
• Identify emerging risks and subjects of interest for clients.
• Deploy in-house technical capability on investigations.
• Produce concise and contextualised threat reporting and present intelligence to clients.
