Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a children's social worker to join a Child Protection Team in Derbyshire.

As a children's social worker with at least two years post qualifying experience you will undertake core assessments, implement Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans and initiate care proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex child protection caseloads, including assessing and managing risk for children and families through assessments and meetings.
• Undertake court work and implement Child Protection plans.
• conduct initial and core assessments.
• Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to improve outcomes and contribute to practice development.
