Job summary

Forward Trust’s Connections Team at HMP Millsike is seeking a compassionate Family and Relationships Practitioner (Children’s Specialist) to support children visiting loved ones in prison. You will create a safe, welcoming play environment, run age-appropriate activities and help children manage emotions during visits.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, collaboration and child-centred care to maintain family connections.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming play environment for visiting children.

• Foster positive interactions to strengthen family relationships.
• Observe and respond to children's needs and escalate where necessary.
• Collaborate with the Connections Team to deliver services.
