We currently have several new posts for Special Guardianship Support Officers within the Family and Friends Team, Child & Family Services. These are full-time, two-year contracts.

You will be part of an innovative and dedicated Fostering and Permanency team focused on providing high-quality support to children and families in need of support.

Your role will focus on supporting and reviewing Special Guardianship Support Plans open to the team. This includes providing support groups for carers and direct support to children in Permanent placements.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the SGO service in Swansea and to be a valued member of a supportive and dynamic team.

Our staff appreciate working in the Family and Friends team as it offers meaningful engagement and support for family members to keep children safe within their family environment and ensure their needs are met.
