Child & Family Social Worker

Location: Cheltenham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay: Up to £42.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Overview

We\'re looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our passionate Children & Families Team in Cheltenham. You\'ll manage a caseload of around 18 children, providing timely and effective, evidence-based interventions that make a real difference.

Responsibilities

• Holding a varied caseload including Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC)
• Handling some court work as part of your responsibilities
• Delivering impactful, evidence-based social work interventions
• Ensuring all children are seen face-to-face (unless COVID confirmed)
• Balancing office and home working, with an expectation of 3 days in the office per week
• Using provided laptop and smartphone to support flexible working
