Job summary

GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AND ARMS LENGTH ORGANISATION is seeking a Child Development Team Leader to oversee day-to-day management of a nursery and contribute to curriculum delivery at Molendinar Family Learning Centre. You will develop programmes to meet service users’ needs and support staff in providing a high-quality Early Years service.

The role requires managing responsibilities, implementing plans for service users, and a deep understanding of children and childhoods.

About the Role

In this role you will support with the day-to-day management of the nursery and support the effective delivery of the service. You will contribute to supporting the curriculum in the setting and develop programmes to ensure the needs of the service users are met.

• Delivering an inclusive and diverse Early Years service that protects and cares for children.
• Support others in understanding children and childhoods.
• Support the appropriate and effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Develop, implement, monitor and review plans and programmes to ensure the needs of all service users are being met.

What We Offer

• Annual Salary of £37,590.25 - £43,771.71 per annum per annum
• 35 hours per week to be worked flexibly on a rota basis between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
• 26 days paid annual leave, rising to 29 days after 5 years' service
