Job description

Child Care Teacher

Full-time positions are available working 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, 18 years of age or older
  • 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred
  • Preferably hold a CDA, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in early education or a related field
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements, including immunizations and employment physicals. You will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons' policies and legal regulations, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $22.25 to $27.15, depending on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. Actual offers will be within this range.
