Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring for a full-time early childhood educator in Oxford, CT. The center operates 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with no evenings or weekends, offering a competitive benefits package and a childcare discount.

You will supervise children from 6 weeks to 12 years, design engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, and collaborate with families to support each child's growth in a warm, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA credential or Head Teacher certification or 12 credits in ECE; Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours and meet state criteria for child care employment.

• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.

• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Head Teacher certification OR 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses OR Bachelor's Degree required
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
