Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Children and Young People’s Mental Health Practitioner in Macclesfield. The role requires experience in evidence-based interventions, risk assessment, and willingness to undertake further training.

You will work within the East Cheshire Mental Health Team providing assessment, therapy, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people with mental health difficulties in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR or systemic therapy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
• A commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning.
