Position Overview:
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly evolving $3B+ enterprise headquartered in the Houston, TX area, is seeking a Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) to lead and accelerate enterprise-wide transformation initiatives—with a critical emphasis on AI integration, digital enablement, and operational excellence.
This role is ideal for a forward-thinking executive who has successfully navigated digital, cultural, and strategic transformation in a large-scale organization. The CTO will work directly with the CEO and executive leadership to reshape business models, modernize operations, and enable innovation across all divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic design and execution of the company’s enterprise transformation roadmap, focused on growth, scalability, and digital reinvention.
- Champion and oversee the implementation of AI-driven technologies across operations, supply chain, customer experience, and product development.
- Establish and manage the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to ensure alignment, prioritization, and delivery of key transformation initiatives.
- Identify and remove operational inefficiencies and legacy processes through data, automation, and change leadership.
- Serve as a change agent—building strong cross-functional partnerships and fostering an adaptive, agile corporate culture.
- Collaborate with C-suite executives and Board members to communicate progress, risk, and value realization of transformation efforts.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams across transformation, analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise innovation functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise transformation, strategy, digital operations, or innovation roles.
- Proven success leading large-scale transformation initiatives in a $500M+ organization, ideally within manufacturing, industrials, energy, or adjacent sectors.
- Strong understanding of AI, data analytics, and automation technologies, with practical experience driving digital implementation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Deep expertise in change management, organizational design, and cultural transformation.
- Executive presence with strong communication skills and a track record of influencing at the Board and CEO level.
