Job Description:

A leading name in film and post-production is looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive innovation at the intersection of creativity and AI. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of storytelling through cutting-edge technology and intelligent content pipelines.

About the Role

As CTO, you’ll join the senior leadership team and lead the strategic development of scalable, AI-enhanced production and post-production workflows. You'll design a seamless, metadata-driven content pipeline—integrating real-time tools, automation, and hybrid cloud infrastructure to empower creative teams and streamline delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect AI-driven workflows spanning acquisition to delivery
  • Lead infrastructure development (cloud/on-prem) for scalable VFX and editorial operations
  • Oversee the integration of machine learning tools across creative processes
  • Drive R&D in AI-assisted VFX, editorial automation, and synthetic media
  • Build and lead a world-class tech team across systems, pipeline, and ML
  • Ensure security, compliance, and cross-team collaboration

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in media tech leadership (film, TV, or digital production)
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native workflows, DAM/MAM systems, and pipeline architecture
  • Strong grasp of media formats and standards (ACES, IMF, AS-11)
  • Visionary leadership with a hands-on, practical approach
  • £100K–£150K salary + performance bonus
  • Private medical, pension, and wellbeing support
  • Generous annual leave with buy-back options
  • Access to top-tier training, events, and creative technology tools
