Role Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer / Chief Product Officer to join their senior leadership team.

This is a pivotal role, combining technical vision with product strategy to drive the next stage of growth. The successful candidate will:

• Define the long-term technical roadmap.
• Scale engineering and product capabilities.
• Work closely with commercial leaders to align technology and product initiatives with market opportunities.

While this is a senior leadership position, the client is seeking someone who can remain hands-on when needed, particularly in the early stages, to accelerate delivery and guide technical decision-making.

You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing technical team, establishing robust product processes, and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and deliver the long-term technical and product vision.
• Product Ownership: Lead product strategy, roadmap, and execution across government and enterprise offerings.
• Team Building: Hire, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical and product team.
• Hands-On Contribution: Provide input on architecture and development when necessary.
• Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders in sales, marketing, and security to align strategy with customer needs.
• Market Insight: Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends, integrating advancements into the product roadmap.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the technical and product vision to clients, partners, and investors.
• Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in senior technology leadership (CTO, CPO, or VP of Engineering/Product).
• Background in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or adjacent technology sectors.
• Experience building and scaling engineering and product teams in a growth-stage environment.
• Strong technical expertise with hands-on development or architecture experience.
• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical plans.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade software solutions to regulated industries.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working with both government and enterprise clients.
• Previous role in a venture-backed scaling business.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.
