Are you ready to modernise, optimise, and future-proof a fast-growing UK property company using AI and automation?

Springbok Properties, one of the UK’s most innovative and award-winning property buying companies, is looking for a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our next major phase of digital transformation. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a thriving in-house platform and inject it with cutting-edge AI, machine learning, performance, and security enhancements.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead the technical transformation of our end-to-end CRM platform (currently built in PHP 8.2, MySQL 8, Redis, and AWS S3) — a system that powers every area of the business from lead generation to payment processing. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of AI/ML features such as voice AI, automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent document handling.
• Modernising the UI/UX of our custom-built CRM to create a fast, seamless, and user-friendly experience.
• Improving server-side and front-end performance, reliability, and uptime.
• Owning and enhancing cybersecurity, audits, and incident recovery planning.
• Creating a cohesive data infrastructure by integrating third-party tools (SpeechIQ, HR & people management platforms).
• Overseeing backups, disaster recovery systems, and infrastructure scaling.
• Building and managing an internal tech team, handling multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced technology leader who can bridge vision with execution and deliver tangible business results. You’ll need:

• Proven experience as a CTO or Technical Lead, ideally in CRM, SaaS, PropTech, or fast-growth tech environments.
• Strong PHP/MySQL experience with expertise in performance optimisation and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to AI/ML development (e.g., automation, NLP, speech/text processing).
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and security-first development.
• A track record of modernising legacy platforms and delivering scalable, intuitive systems.
• Exceptional team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
