Job summary

A leading payment solutions provider in the UK is looking for a seasoned Head of Risk and Compliance. The successful candidate will oversee the company's Risk, Compliance, and Anti-Financial Crime frameworks. Key responsibilities include serving as a primary contact for regulatory bodies, developing compliance policies, and providing strategic guidance to senior management. Ideal applicants will have extensive experience in FCA-regulated environments, a strong regulatory knowledge, and the capability to lead and influence at executive levels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in risk and compliance roles within FCA-regulated institutions.
  • Demonstrable experience as a nominated MLRO and/or Head of Compliance.
  • Expert level understanding of the UK regulatory landscape including PSRs and Money Laundering Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead company's Risk, Compliance, and Financial Crime frameworks.
  • Serve as primary contact for FCA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and maintain an effective compliance framework and policies.
