The Opportunity

The Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO) for Worldline UK is a senior leadership role within the UK management structure, responsible for overseeing Second Line activities to manage risks including Financial, Operational, Compliance, Strategic & Security, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

We are in the process of obtaining a Credit Licence for Debt Administration and Debt Collection activities in the UK. Your expertise will ensure we meet FCA requirements while supporting business growth.

Operating within a matrix organization, you will report locally to the UK CEO and Management Board, and functionally to the global risk organization. You will manage a team of experts in Risk Management, Compliance, and Security, working closely with global risk officers. We value continuous improvement and leadership in risk and compliance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the Second Line Security, Risk & Compliance function within Worldline UK
  • Drive adoption of risk, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Establish a sound risk culture
  • Monitor and report on the organization's risk profile in line with risk appetite
  • Liaise with management and escalate matters as needed
  • Interact with the FCA on relevant security, risk, and compliance issues

Who Are We Looking For

We seek visionary individuals who can drive positive change, demonstrate passion, and have a growth mindset. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with hands-on support capability
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and frameworks (COSO, ISO, PCI DSS, etc.)
  • Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure
  • 5+ years in Risk, Security, and/or Compliance roles
  • Experience working with the FCA
  • Proven leadership and team management skills (5+ years)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Economics, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Relevant industry certifications (ISACA, IIA, CRMA, CRISC, CISA, etc.)
  • Experience with GRC tools (preferably RSA Archer)
