The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will take full ownership of all revenue-generating functions across their platform. As a key member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term value. This includes leading merchant growth and retention, partnering with marketing, and developing new revenue streams. This role offers a rare opportunity to influence every aspect of the marketplace’s commercial success.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a senior commercial role within a UK or European online marketplace or e-commerce business. You should have a strong trading background, a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, and a track record of managing and scaling sizeable, high-performing teams. Experience with end-to-end P&L ownership of revenues exceeding £30 million is required. The candidate must be commercially analytical, financially astute, and confident operating at the board level.
