This is a fixed-term role for a minimum of 12 months, which can be undertaken as part of a programme or out of programme (training or experience).
In the first instance, applications must be discussed with your educational supervisor and training programme director (TPD), and permission to apply must be granted by the TPD.
The chief registrar will be mentored by a senior clinical leader within the organisation, gaining insight into NHS leadership and management processes, along with a deeper understanding of NHS structures and stakeholders.
The role includes attendance at modules delivered as part of the RCP's bespoke development programme, covering topics such as change management, team culture and development, quality improvement, leadership, influencing, and personal resilience.

Registration (Essential): GMC Registered with Licence to Practice
Experience (Essential): ST 4 or above
Skills (Essential): Previous experience of working with doctors in training
