My client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Chief Quality Inspector, proficient in overseeing quality control within the industrial/manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of products and manufacturing processes.

Client Details: Our client is a mid-sized organisation based in Leeds that specialises in engineering and manufacturing. They are renowned for their commitment to quality and consistency, ensuring the delivery of superior products to their clients across various sectors.

Description

Key responsibilities:

Overseeing quality control processes and ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Conducting regular inspections and audits in line with industry standards.
Identifying potential issues and implementing corrective action plans.
Collaborating with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to streamline processes.
Training and mentoring junior staff in quality control practices.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reporting to management and making recommendations for improvements.
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control.

Profile: A successful Chief Quality Inspector should have:

Experience programming and operating CMM.
Solid understanding of quality control procedures and standards within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in using quality control software and equipment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
