Job summary

The Collective Network Limited is recruiting a Chief Quality Inspector to lead the Quality Inspection function across two manufacturing sites in Gloucestershire. You will be permanently based at either site and oversee a small team of inspectors as the business scales.

You will drive the development of inspection technologies, from programming techniques to equipment introduction, and manage documentation such as FAIRs, Gauge R&R and Non-Conformance Reporting.

Qualifications

• PC-DMIS Operating and Programming Experience (Level 2).
• Previous Team Management Experience.
• Experience of process development.
• Full understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Extracting Inspection Data from CAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Inspection across two sites in Gloucestershire.
• Manage a small team of Quality Inspectors and drive growth.
• Develop inspection technology, including programming techniques and equipment.

It's not often you can lead a company that are pioneering a new technology into manufacturing, but this opportunity offers exactly that.

We are partnering with a quickly expanding manufacturing business that have pioneered a brand-new technology that is being used across the Aerospace, Defence and Automotive industry. And in this role you will be responsible for leading their Quality Inspection function across two sites, being permanently based at either site.

Currently this would be managing a small team of Quality Inspectors across two sites, but with aggressive growth plans already taking place, this role will grow in responsibility. Being the Chief Quality Inspector, as well as man management, you will also be leading development of the latest and greatest technology within inspection, from programming techniques, introducing equipment or managing aspects such as documentation for FAIRs, Gauge R&R Reporting and Non-Conformance Reporting.

To be successful in this position, you will need:
