Job summary

Fordham Talent Partnership in London seeks a senior finance leader to own capital, liquidity and financial resilience across its regulated entities. You will be the accountable Finance owner for prudential assessments and the capital view, advising the CFO and senior management on what the numbers mean for strategy.

This leadership role requires experience in ICARA, UK prudential regulation and strong communication to non-specialists. Open to contractor or fixed-term bridge for the right person.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in prudential finance, regulatory capital or liquidity.
• Real experience leading an ICARA or an equivalent prudential assessment.
• Strong knowledge of UK prudential regulation.
• The ability to explain complex regulation clearly to non-specialists.
• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead the prudential finance team and set its direction and standards.
• Own the stress testing, recovery and wind-down framework.
• Advise on capital allocation, dividends, intra-group funding and liquidity.
• Write the prudential papers for the executive and the board, and present them.
• Lead Finance’s engagement with the regulators.
• Keep the controls, models and reporting behind it all robust.
