Why This Role Is Important To Us

We are seeking a hands-on Chief Product Officer to take complete ownership of our product strategy and be the driving force behind our platform's evolution. This is a critical leadership role where you will be deeply involved in the technology that powers our business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have the autonomy to shape the future of our platform, working in close partnership with our high-performing quant and engineering teams to bring the product vision to life. This role is pivotal to our success, sitting at the intersection of product, technology, and customer engagement.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Product Ownership: Define the product strategy and own the roadmap from end-to-end , from initial concept through to delivery, iteration, and market fit.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with the heads of Engineering and Quantitative Research to align on the product roadmap, translate user needs into technical requirements, and ensure the successful, high-quality delivery of new features.
• Full-Cycle Execution: Work closely with the team and customers to turn ideas into features , and drive the full build cycle: scope, spec, develop, test, ship, and iterate.
• Hands-On Technical Involvement: Be actively involved with the technology, including architecture reviews, security protocols, and sprint planning where necessary to guide product development.
• Process & Standards: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine development workflows to maintain focus and speed, while championing high standards for technical quality, reliability, and performance.
• Strategic Prioritization: Ruthlessly prioritize the product roadmap to ensure the teams are focused on the most impactful initiatives and, most importantly, that you ship them.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary bridge between customers, the executive team, and the engineering and quant departments, ensuring alignment and clear communication.

What We Value in a Candidate

• Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience in product and engineering leadership, ideally gained within scaling tech companies.
• Deep Technical Acumen: A strong technical background is essential. You’ve built products, worked with code, and can engage in detailed architectural discussions with engineers.
• Execution Mindset: A "get-it-done" attitude. You move fast, simplify complex problems, and have a proven history of leading focused teams that ship product rapidly.
• Modern Engineering Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern development practices, cloud infrastructure (especially Azure), APIs, and data systems.
• Domain Expertise (Bonus):
• Experience in fintech, particularly with trading systems or compliance platforms.
• A background in data platforms, analytics, or real-time systems.
• Knowledge of our specific tech stack: Python, React, KDB+, DuckDB, APIs, Web Security, and SOC2 would be a significant advantage.
• Client & User Focus: The ability to work directly with users and customers to translate their needs into a tangible, high-quality product.
