About the Role

The Chief People Officer develops the people strategies aligned with RSPB’s goals and supports the delivery of its core objectives. They lead a motivated, skilled workforce supported by effective policies, embodying the RSPB Values of Courage, Connection, Collaboration, and Clarity.

This leader will motivate the People Team, foster collaboration across the organization, and ensure optimal workforce structure through strategic planning.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, HR expertise, and an interest in the charitable and environmental sectors. They should understand organizational change, employment law, and workplace challenges. Experience in promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion, serving as a positive role model, and innovating people strategies is essential.
