Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Chief People Officer to join the Board and Executive Team. This role will shape culture, leadership and the workforce to deliver exceptional care and create a great place to work.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will drive organisational improvement, champion an ambitious, inclusive and accountable culture, and influence workforce strategy across Greater Manchester and beyond to deliver better patient care.

To help us achieve that ambition, we are seeking an exceptional Chief People Officer to join our Board and Executive Team.

As Chief People Officer, you will be far more than the leader of a People function. You will help shape the future of GMMH, creating culture, leadership and workforce that will enable us to deliver exceptional care and in an environment where colleagues truly thrive, and in doing so can provide the very best care for our communities.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will play a central role in driving organisational improvement and long-term sustainability.

Working across Greater Manchester and beyond, you will influence workforce strategy at place, system and regional level, helping shape the future of mental health services.

This is a role for a leader who thrives on challenge, embraces complexity and sees culture and leadership as critical levers for improving patient care.

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 7000 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 122 locations.

We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.
