Join Us as Our New Chief Operations and Financial Officer

Are you a strategic and dynamic leader with expertise in finance, operations, and multi-academy trust growth? Heathland Whitefriars Federation Multi-Academy Trust is looking for an exceptional Chief Financial and Operations Officer (COFO) to play a key role in driving the Trust forward as we develop.

About the Role

As COFO, you will:

  1. Lead all non-academic operations, including finance, estates, HR, IT, and governance.
  2. Ensure financial sustainability and compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook.
  3. Support the Trust’s growth strategy, including onboarding new schools.
  4. Act as a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership and Board of Trustees.
  5. Oversee risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What We are Looking For:

  1. A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finance/business professional with senior leadership experience.
  2. A proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership.
  3. Experience in multi-academy trusts or education finance (desirable).
  4. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  5. A commitment to the values of our Trust.
