Job description

The University of Wolverhampton is seeking an outstanding individual to join our senior leadership team as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Role Overview

Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive, the COO will be responsible for delivering the University Strategy 2035, with a focus on finance, digital, and estates.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead efforts to create a financially sustainable institution.
  2. Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and strategic investments.
  3. Contribute as a core member of the Vice Chancellor’s Group and the University Executive Board.
Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a large, complex organization at a senior level, with extensive commercial expertise and a results-oriented approach.
