We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the team at Gainsborough’s House, the leading public art gallery in Suffolk. As one of the major cultural venues in East Anglia, Gainsborough’s House presents a programme of outstanding exhibitions and events. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a new role within the Museum and forms an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to the strategic direction of Gainsborough’s House and leading some of its core business functions, including finance, commercial, operations and human resources. The post holder will act as Deputy to the Executive Director and develop a motivated staff and volunteer community, continuously seeking to improve the quality of the visitor offer, achieving transformational change, and enhancing the Gallery’s reputation for excellence in all that it undertakes.
