An established charity is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to drive operational efficiency and business development initiatives. This role involves enhancing the Foundation's visibility within the community while ensuring financial sustainability and quality assurance. The successful candidate will lead efforts in achieving industry-recognized accreditations and compliance measures, working collaboratively with staff to expand the charity's reach. Salary: £50-55k (with annual pay reviews)

In supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead and support on the following initiatives:
To effectively lead and develop the Foundation’s Operations, focusing on partnership development, financial sustainability, quality assurance and business development whilst enhancing the Foundation’s visibility and presence within the wider community as a high-quality provider.
To keep up to date with political, social, economic and technological changes to ensure currency within the department, particularly where new opportunities become available to enhance the curriculum offer.
Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure sustainability for Sheffield United Community Foundation whilst seeking new business development opportunities for appropriate expansion and development of the charity.
