Job description

COO - High Growth Technology Business - North West / Hybrid time spent in Cumbria, Preston and Haydock

Delkia is a specialist engineering and technology company operating throughout the UK and internationally for mission-critical and safety-related systems in highly regulated industries. Their focus is on the Nuclear and Defence sectors.

Their offering includes engineering, systems integration, engineering design, technical consultancy, and complex control systems support. Their purpose is protecting lives and critical assets.

Having doubled in size each year for the last four years, they have ambitious further plans to reach £50m by 2028.

As they enter this exciting scale-up phase, they are looking to appoint a COO to the board.

Our ideal person will be an experienced Projects, Programme, or Operations Leader who has deep knowledge of commercial contracts and a granular understanding of NEC3, NEC4, and bespoke public procurement contracts. It is important to have a successful track record of managing timely and on-budget project delivery for demanding safety-critical clients.

This experience might have been gained in an M&E Contractor or within another systems integration business, ideally into the nuclear or industries of a safety-critical, highly regulated nature. Alternatively, experience gained within companies working with the nuclear end client would also be of interest.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to be a key part of a successful business that is looking to become an important player in the markets they serve.

If being part of this is of interest, please respond with a full CV and remuneration details to Colette Brown at Oryx Executive Search - c.brown@oryxes.co.uk
