Chief Operating Officer

The VOCES8 Foundation is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help shape the future of one of the world’s leading vocal music education charities. This is a pivotal moment in our journey, and the COO will play a crucial role in delivering our ambitious vision and scaling our global impact.

As a core member of our executive leadership team, the COO will bring strategic oversight and operational expertise to support our world-class artistic and educational programmes. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence a fast-growing organisation recognised internationally for innovation, excellence, and impact.

We want to hear from strategic leaders with a deep passion for the arts, strong operational acumen, and a track record of enabling sustainable growth in a creative or charitable environment.

We are looking for a leader who brings:

• COO or high-level senior management experience, preferably with a background in arts, education or the voluntary sector.
• Proven ability to work successfully in a team and forge and sustain successful partnerships.
• Experience of financial management with the ability to balance short term financial controls with long term ambitious plans.
• Excellent people development and management skills, including knowledge of employment best practice and procedures and a track record in distance management.
• Experience of working collaboratively with a board and staff team to define strategy and lead teams through successful implementation of the strategy adopted.
• Commercial acumen and a desire to grow the organisation alongside the wider team.
• Strong, confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire trust and establish and maintain excellent positive working relationships internally and externally.
• Commitment to developing, embedding and maintaining diversity and inclusivity across the organisation and externally with partners.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
