Job description

We’re supporting a dynamic, high-growth organisation on the appointment of a Chief Operating Officer (COO); a newly created, board-level role at the heart of a business undergoing rapid expansion and transformation.

Following significant investment in technology, infrastructure, and senior leadership, this is a rare opportunity to shape the operational future of one of the most ambitious businesses in its sector.

The Role

Reporting to the Group CEO, the COO will lead all central operations and play a critical role in building a scalable, efficient and high-performing platform. This role is responsible for designing and executing operational strategy across a network of acquired and organic business units, ensuring consistency, control, and compliance at every level.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Leading group-wide operational integration and optimisation
  • Overseeing key central functions including systems, service delivery, data, reporting, compliance, and commercial partnerships
  • Embedding a performance-led culture through clear metrics and operational discipline
  • Driving service standards that support customer retention and long-term commercial value
  • Leading regulatory oversight, risk management and audit across a complex group structure
  • Developing and empowering high-performing teams aligned with group strategy

Your Profile

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on operational leader with a background in scaling complex, regulated sales or service organisations. You’ll bring:

  • Board-level leadership experience within a high-growth, multi-site environment
  • A proven ability to unify operations across acquired or diverse business units
  • Commercial acumen and a track record of improving performance and service standards
  • Strong command of data, systems, controls and compliance in a regulated setting
  • Gravitas and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style with a bias for execution

This is a career defining opportunity to influence the trajectory of a business poised for significant future growth. This role offers a generous base salary and benefits, plus bonus opportunities and a compelling LTIP. If you’re ready to lead from the front, we’d love to hear from you.
