Job Description:

A high-profile, global multi-manager hedge fund is looking to hire a London-based ‘Chief of Staff’.

As the fund continues to expand and diversify, the lead Portfolio Manager for the firm's flagship European strategy seeks a Chief of Staff to support their remit and that of the investment team. The role involves being a sounding board for business buildouts and strategy, implementing strategic objectives (such as business launches and technology advancements), serving as the first point of contact for the investment team regarding issues and challenges, and enhancing collaboration and visibility between the Portfolio Manager and support functions. The position requires problem-solving skills, with responsibilities including delivering detailed analytics, presentations, and reports to the firm's managing partners. This is a highly visible, autonomous role at an exciting growth phase for the firm, with potential influence on growth plans for APAC and MENA regions.

Ideal candidates are existing traders or investment professionals seeking a new focus, or ex-traders currently employed at top-tier management consulting firms. Candidates with experience as hedge fund business managers, COOs, or strategy professionals will also be considered. An exceptional academic record and industry qualifications are required.
