Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare is seeking an experienced senior nursing leader to join the Urgent and Emergency Care Directorate as a key member of the Directorate leadership team. The postholder will provide visible, compassionate leadership and work with senior colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality care and an excellent patient and staff experience.

You will lead service development, use data to drive improvements, and champion workforce development and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current UK registration.
• MSc or working towards attainment in a relevant field.
• Management qualification is desirable.
• Formal improvement training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior professional nursing leadership across Urgent and Emergency Care.
• Lead service development and drive operational, quality, workforce and financial priorities.
• Ensure clinical governance, patient safety and experience standards are met.
• Support workforce development, recruitment, retention and succession planning.
• Deputise for the General Manager and collaborate across professional boundaries.
