Job Description:

The Chief Marine Engineer is accountable to RRPS Chief Engineer Mobile for the safety and fitness of purpose of NautIQ Solutions products. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining product safety in accordance with Rolls-Royce policy and relevant legislation.
  2. Applying HSE compliance to products.
  3. Leading knowledge management and intellectual property development within NautIQ Solutions.
  4. Managing stakeholder relationships between engineering, technology, safety, and NautIQ Solutions.
  5. Supporting business capability and resource planning.

  • Significant electrical engineering experience.
  • Ability to apply logical, analytical, and innovative thinking on technical problems.
  • Proven experience in provisioning optimized design solutions.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management and change control.
  • Working knowledge of relevant technical skills.
Desirable:
  • Domain knowledge of naval or marine automation.
  • Experience with naval and marine standards and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of deploying engineering delivery.
  • Experience applying systems engineering approaches.
