Job summary

Mint Selection Ltd. seeks a Head of Legal to lead the in-house function for a growing renewable energy platform in the UK. You will provide strategic legal advice to the Board, steer risk management, and oversee commercial negotiations across development, construction, and operation of assets.

Ideal candidates have UK/Common Law qualification with 5–10 years PQE, and a strong track record in renewables, infrastructure, or project development. London location with flexible working is offered.

Qualifications

• UK/Common Law qualified solicitor with broad experience in renewables or infrastructure.
• 5–10 years PQE with in-house or top-tier law firm background.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial and project agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal leadership to the Board and senior management.
• Draft, review and negotiate EPC, O&M, supply and other contracts.
• Support project development across land, planning, grid and regulatory work.
• Lead M&A, disposals and financing transactions with due diligence oversight.
• Oversee risk, governance and regulatory compliance across assets.
• Manage external advisers and key counterparties with stakeholders.
