Chief Financial Officer - (Perm/Full Time) - REF:CE/22004

This is a pivotal leadership role as Chief Financial Officer (Section 95 Officer), responsible for the effective administration of the Council's financial affairs. As a core member of the Corporate Management Team, you will:

  1. Lead the Finance Service, including Accountancy, Revenues & Benefits, and Internal Audit.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the Council's objectives.
  3. Act as the principal adviser on all financial matters.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
  5. Represent the Council at key external engagements.

You will play a central role in shaping the financial future of Inverclyde, driving value for money, and supporting transformational change. Please note that the salary of £113,000 includes a market supplement, which will be subject to annual review.
