Job Description
- Provide executive leadership in evaluating short and long-term strategic financial objectives, offering recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Ensure the continued financial health and success of the organization by effectively planning and managing global financial resources.
- Manage and monitor liabilities and investments across global entities for financial risks, considering cash and liquidity risks, and develop strategies accordingly.
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
- Partner with investment advisors and report to executive management and the Board of Directors, advising on the investment portfolio.
- Develop tools and systems to deliver critical financial and operational information to the CEO and management team, and make strategic recommendations.
- Analyze cash flow, forecasting, debt needs, rate management, foreign exchange, and costs to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and oversee accounting and finance teams at headquarters and across multiple locations, including R&D centers and sales offices globally.
- Participate actively in Executive Management Team meetings, providing updates on financials and other responsibilities.
- Establish and report on KPIs for the business.
- Prepare the organization’s annual 3-year and 5-year business plans.
- Oversee tax reporting and filings, 401K administration in the US, US payroll, and global profit sharing calculations.
- Manage organizational risk, establish and improve internal controls and procedures.
- Evaluate and develop a strong accounting and finance team.
- Assess strategic growth opportunities through expansion and mergers & acquisitions.
- Oversee IT, Legal, and HR functions, collaborating on strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Ensure clear communication of goals and objectives across all teams and management, and effectively communicate changes.
- Lead by example, maintaining a professional environment, fostering collaboration, and promoting a positive mindset.
